Hi, I'm Jamie Plant and the face behind Plant Property Solutions. I thought I would use this space to give you all a little information about how we got to where we are today.

It all started at the age of eight years old, now some of you will be thinking how? My father was in the trade himself and after buying his second family home (also known now as a do'er upper) he spent the majority of his free time refurbishing the house from top to bottom. I would try my best, at such a young age, to help as much as I could.

This varied from just sitting in the van to passing tools, knocking down walls, filling skips and spending the odd evening in A&E... sporting the latest injury of a young boy eager to be just like his dad. It was clear I was determined to follow in my father's footsteps. As time went on, I would continue helping out during school holidays until the time came to leave school and serve my apprenticeship for the next five years.

After qualifying and working alongside my father for seven to eight years, the time was right to start up my own business; Plant Property Solutions. Since that day, I haven't looked back. You'll also be pleased to hear, he's part of the team!
